Overview:
This event is part of a series of free online sessions accompanying the launch of Re-Live’s new book, Creating Life Story Theatre: A Guide for Applied Theatre Practitioners.

This session will cover:
Applications of creative life story work across different art forms - such as theatre, comics, and songwriting - and in various settings, including care homes, community spaces, and online
Case studies that share the impact of this work - on the person sharing their story, as well as audiences and decision makers
Examples of the ripple effect of life story work - how sharing lived experience can inspire community activism, influence service design and shape policy
The second half of the session will include a Q&A, offering space to reflect together, ask questions, and explore emerging ideas.
