Re-Live training approach

Re-Live are a team of specialist practitioners in compassionate approaches to dementia care. Our experiential training programme has been developed through extensive research across the UK and Japan.

Experiential training is a dynamic and practical way of learning which allows trainees to hold on to new information, new skills and build confidence. Evidence shows that experiential learning is more likely to bring about a deeper change in attitudes, and greater development of compassion than more traditional training methods. (Sheard, 2009, Ballard et al., 2001).

Re-Live have trained over 5,000 health and social care professionals, arts practitioners and volunteers throughout Wales, England and California, USA.

COVID-19

Since the outbreak of Covid-19, Re-Live have pivoted to deliver all of their training and group work online, via Zoom. We now have extensive experience in designing, hosting, and facilitating experiential training and group work online.

Re-Live have recently worked in America, Japan, Ireland and Australia, and have been commissioned to deliver dementia training for Swansea County Council, Vale of Glamorgan County Council, Powys County Council, Cardiff County Council, Lancashire Workforce and Development Partnership, Legal & General, Cardiff Metropolitan University and University of California, San Francisco.
